A really unusual and practical piece of furniture full of character, style and charm.

Ever popular for vintage and modern home interiors.
The trunk is made of pine with metal edgings and large brass studding on all sides.

The trunk originally would have been unpainted and probably dates from the early 1900's. Painted a gloss black and with grey edging and 'Kensington LRW' painted to the sides with a symbol and date mark of 1954. We have tried to find out what this stands for but drawn a blank so could be military, industrial or railway related.

Condition: As you can see the trunk has been well travelled/used and has developed an overall characterful look. Part of the top has an old split but is still sturdy.
Flexible as a coffee table, storage or blanket chest in the bedroom.

The lock closes but sorry no key.
This chest is guaranteed to be the talking point of your room.

    Width 83.5cm, Depth 47.5cm, Height 44.5cm
